me and a friend were out halloween costume hunting last night and we had a craving for coney's. so we called national to check to see what time they closed. 9pm on a friday night. we walked in the door at 8:45 and were told 'of course you can come in, we will turn of the lights at 9 but you can still order '. right before we were sat someone yells at the waitress and says 'carry out only!'. fine, no problem. we'll still order. the girl who was waiting on us was obviously new, but the other employees were treating her like she was a moron and in front of customers. something i feel is very rude and unprofessional. the girl was very nice and apologetic that we were told we could sit down then told 'carry out only'. we made sure to tip her even though it was a carry out order. there were still plenty of people still in there eating, drinking coffee, smoking and some people who hadn't even gotten their food yet. whatever, we order some combos with coney/fries/pop and coney/onion rings/pop. the menu said the pop was supposed to be 20 oz, it looked like a child's size. all the rest of the food was put in a bag and we go off on our merry way. the coney's were fine, the fries were a bit soggy probably partially due to the chili that was on them. however the onion rings were horrid. they were practically raw, barely even browned and of the 2 i ate the batter didn't even seem cooked all the way through. very disappointing coming from a place that serves these things all day long. pathetic. if i do eat here again i will dine in and if the onion rings are raw i will send them back.

I love National Coney Island and try to get back there at least once every time I got back to my parents. I always get the Hani Special Deluxe. Love the chicken, the pickle, the cole slaw, the fries, everything about it. Very rarely will you have to wait for a seat and as with other coney islands, the wait staff will be right over with the cheap napkins, take your drink and food order and you'll be eating in 5 minutes!

We really used to like coming here for Greek salads ,great coneys and chili cheese fries .Awaile ago it started going down , time after time again it just got worse up until today I said I am done with this particular national coney ,,food and service have gone down the toilet ,they don't care about the Customers okay,, but how about their name and reputation, its going to sh;-t. I won't be going back . Good job ruining a great place ! Idiots

Went here for lunch today. This is the first time I've ever been to this location and it's been several years since I have even been to one of these. They don't have them from where I am from, so I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the Coney Dog and an order of French Toast (to try out both Breakfast and Lunch). Both did not disappoint. I will definitely go back here. Total bill was 8$ before tip (with a soda).

1st time ever at this location. Staci filled my SuperBowl Carryout in seconds. As I walked around & observed this place, it was VERY CLEAN ! 100% booths + several stools at the counter no tables

The manager Jim is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The staff was so kind and attentive, it was a great meal all around. One of the best locations in the chain because of the wonderful customer service.

I have eaten here many times and first I'd like to say that the food is great. The cooks do their job well. Recently though, the service has been horrible. I came here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning at 9:00 am. They were not busy at all.....5 older gentlemen at one table, a couple sitting in a booth and a man sitting by himself. I came in and saw one waitress and 2 cooks at the time. The sign said to seat yourself, so I choose a table between the couple and the man. I read the menu, watched 2 segments of the news that was on their flat screen, watched the waitress attend to the 5 gentlemen like they were the only ones in the restaurant. I thought she would check on her other customers to see if they needed their coffees refilled......nope.....after about 20 - 25 minutes, I got up and left. I actually went to the Big Boys a few miles up the road (where I had a cup of coffee and my order taken within 3 minutes).

It's a coney in a shopping complex. As far as coneys go, it's always solid, and I've never had anything bad or weird happen here. It caters mainly to shoppers and the local workers in the complex and surrounding areas. Cheap, fast, greasy, delicious, all the things you'd expect from a place that specializes in chili dogs and fries. They redid the interior in or around late Fall 2010 so it's pretty clean and spiffy with no weird booths or broken anything. They've got some TVs but this location does not serve beer like some other Nationals do.
